It's safe to say that Junior and Mini Great North Run day is our absolute favourite day of the year, and despite our hiatus at the 2023 event, we were still honoured to see our young participants wearing their yellow t-shirts with pride last year!

We are pleased to say that in 2024 we will be returning to the Quayside and our VIP Sunshine Zone will be bigger and better, and we hope to see many of you there!

​

Team Mini Sunshine is the opportunity for many of our Sunshine Children to take part in a mainstream sporting event where their disability does not prevent them from having fun and being like any other child. We are always bursting with pride to see so many of our children cross the finish line in what is a truly inspirational and emotional day. We also love to see siblings and supporters take part too!.

All Team Mini Sunshine participants will will receive their own Mini Sunshine t-shirt and a certificate to recognise their incredible achievements.

As soon as you've secured your Mini, Junior, Wheelchair or Mini 50 place, please contact Amanda so that we can add your child's name to Team Mini Sunshine and ensure they receive their t-shirt ahead of the big day!
