Take part in the world famous Great North Run and run with Team Sunshine to support children with disabilities, right here in the North East!

The AJ Bell Great North Run world’s biggest half marathon! It navigates the notorious 13.1 mile route from Newcastle to South Shields each year.

 

Experience the Red Arrows kick-starting the run, the uplifting on-route entertainment, and of course the warm Geordie welcome at the finish line, all whilst raising vital funds to support local children and their families in the North East living with disabilities, additional needs, chronic and terminal illness. 

 

We ask that our charity place runners raise at least £300 to support us in providing life-changing, specialist equipment for our children.
