Are you brave enough to spend the night in one of the UK's most haunted Castles?
Northumberland's Chillingham Castle is notorious for being one of the Most Haunted Castle's in the UK, and it's clear to see why with it's dark history and resident spirits who haunt the castle grounds.
The castle has been featured on endless podcasts such as 'Morbid', 'Haunted UK' and 'GraveYard Tales', and has played host to many TV shows including 'Most Haunted' and, more recently, Mark Wright's 'A Wright Family Holiday' and so we are thrilled to launch our EXCLUSIVE Chillingham Castle Scarefest taking place on Sunday 22nd October 2023!
Just in time for Halloween, we have been given EXCLUSIVE access to parts of Chillingham Castle that aren't open to the public, and this is your chance to find out why. Just in time for Halloween, the Scarefest Challenge will welcome a group of brave souls to explore areas of the castle with the highest reports of spiritual activity such as the Chapel and Oubliette Dungeon.
We will be collaborating with Spiritus Paranormal and North East Medium, Stephen Crawford, who will guide challengers throughout the evening using professional paranormal investigative tools that you see on shows like 'Most Haunted' and 'Ghost Hunters International', to try to connect to the other side...
Just some of the resident spirits include the Blue Boy and Lady Mary Berkely, and, perhaps most famously, John Sage, otherwise known as 'The Butcher of the Scots'. Last year we all left with goosebumps after witnessing chandeliers swinging and doors banging whilst trying to communicate with this ruthless executioner! With exclusive access on the evening, there will also be an opportunity to spend time alone in castle locations for the ultimate ghost hunting thrill!
So, if you're a believer or a sceptic, we want to hear from you if you'd like to part! If you are successful in nabbing a spot on this truly unique and chilling experience, we ask that every participant raises at least £300 which will support us in urgently funding the equipment for children on our waiting list. If you’re not scared of the prospect of an evening at Chillingham, then fundraising shouldn’t scare you either! We’re here to help you every step of the way and know that your family, friends and loved ones will likely throw sponsorship at you if they know you’re spending a night in a haunted dungeon.

There are limited places available on the challenge and it isn't for the fainthearted, so if you have been chosen to take part we will email you by Monday 7th August.
Upon confirmation of your place, you will be required to pay a £40 registration fee within 48 hours. Failure to pay will result in a reallocation of your spot on the challenge. This fee includes exclusive access to areas of the castle not available to the public, as well as use of Spiritus Paranormal's professional equipment.
